SO SHE IS A LONGTIME EMPLOYEE.
AUTHOR BEGAN IN 2004 AS A FULL-TIME GROUNDSKEEPER.
HE WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN OTHER GROUNDSKEEPERS GET IN THE AREAS UP TO SPEED, AND HE WAS VERY INDISPENSABLE AS A HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR AND HE SERVED ALL OF THE DIFFERENT AREAS THROUGHOUT THE CAMPUS.
SO, ART REALLY DID TAKE A LOT OF PRIDE IN HIS WORK.
FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS, HE ACTUALLY TOOK CARE OF ALL OF THE BASEBALL GROUNDS AND THE TENNIS COURT AREA.

IT IS SUCH AN ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR THEM FOR THEIR ENTIRE FAMILY AND NOT JUST THEMSELVES IN THE COMMUNITY.
ESPECIALLY THE IMMIGRANTS TOO, TO COME HERE, TO FIND THE OPPORTUNITY, WORK HARD AND GET THE SUPPORT OF THE PEOPLE HERE AT THE COLLEGE.
THE PEOPLE THAT THEY HAVE MADE FRIENDS WITH ON THE CAMPUS IT IS REALLY TOUCHING TO SEE EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT COMES THROUGH AND IS LOOKING FORWARD TO MANY MORE GRADUATIONS IN THE FUTURE.

I GOT REALLY CONFUSED TO WIN, WHAT, WHERE.
BUT I WAS ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OTHERS.

SO IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND WE WERE VERY EXCITED AND I THINK IT GAVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW THE CREATIVITY AND THE EXCITEMENT AND INCLUDE THEIR FAMILIES AND THEIR CELEBRATIONS.
THERE WERE BUSES, LITERALLY BUSES PACKED WITH THE STUDENTS FAMILIES AND FRIENDS CELEBRATING.
I DON'T THINK WE SEE THAT DURI COMMENCEMENT'S.
I AM NOT SAYING WE SHOU TRADITIONAL COMMENCEMENT'S, THAT IS PART OF WHAT WE ALL EXPECT TO GRADUATE.
BUT THIS WAS AN OPPORTUNITY TO REALLY ALLOW THEM TO CELEBRATE WITH THEIR LOVED ONES.
WITH THE PEOPLE THAT HELP THEM THEY WERE AT CERRITOS COLLEGE.
SO I WANT TO CONGRATULATE THEM I WANT TO CONGRATULATE ALL THAT HELP PLAN THIS EVENT IT TOOK A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF WORK TO HAVE AN EVENT THIS BIG AND SO WELL ORGANIZED.
I THINK THE TOTAL COUNT WAS SOMEWHERE AROUND 700 VEHICLES THAT WENT ACROSS.

TO WORK FOR AMAZON THERE, HE IS DOING REALLY WELL.

THAT IS ONE GOOD EXAMPLE OF THE POWER OF EDUCATION.
I JUST WANTED TO BRING THIS TO EVERYONE'S ATTENTION, SOMETIMES WE NEED A REMINDER THAT THIS IS WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO.
I KNOW IT IS TAKING A LOT OUT OF ALL OF US, AND THE LAST 15 OR 16 MONTHS WE HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH ALL OF THE CHANGES THAT HAS TO BE ON TOP OF THE WORK.
