SO I WILL GO AHEAD AND START WITH DR. LINKWAY FROM CCFF.

>> HI, EVERYONE, YOU COULD HEAR ME OKAY.

THANK YOU.

TRUSTY MEMBERS, MY NAME IS WINGWAY, MAYBE OF YOU KNOW FOR MY WORK IN CERRITOS COLLEGE.

AS A PROUD ALUMNI OF SERITOS COLLEGE I HAVE ADVOCATED FOR THE STUDENTS.

I HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF WORKING WITH YOU TO REPRESENT OUR FACULTY AND MY ADVOCACY FOR FACULTY WILL STILL BE ADVOCACY FOR OUR STUDENTS, BECAUSE FACULTY WORKING CONDITIONS ARE OUR STUDENT LEARNING CONDITIONS.

SINCE ASSUMING OFFICE ON OCTOBER 26TH, I HAVE FOCUSED WITH CONNECTING WITH FACULTY DURING THIS PERIOD.

IN THESE CONVERSATIONS I HAVE LEARNED OF MY COLLEAGUE'S VOICES AS THEY CONTINUE TO ADVOCATE TO WORRY FOR THEIR STUDENTS.

I COULD TELL YOU, THE FACULTY, ARE WORKING HARDER THAN EVER.

WHEN WE REALIZE WE'RE NOT STAYING AT HOME FOR JUST SPRING 2020 SEMESTER, ONLY TO LEARN WE HAVE TO LEARN TO BE INFLUENCERS, CAPTIONISTS, VIDEO EDITORS, IT SUPPORT AND SOMETIMES MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS TO INSURE OUR STUDENTS RECEIVE A QUALITY ON-LINE EDUCATION.

AND ALL WHILE JUGGLING PERSONAL OBLIGATIONS SUCH AS OVERSEEING VIRTUAL HOME SCHOOL, WORKING FROM HOME, CARING FOR FAMILY AND OTHER PERSONAL OBLIGATIONS.

FACULTY SPENT HOURS ON ZOOM, HOLDING OFFICE HOURS, ADDITIONAL SIN CRONYIST.

AND ADDITIONALLY, THEY ARE GRADING CONSTANTLY, PROVIDING WRITTEN, AUDIO, AND VIDEO COMMENTS TO THEIR STUDENTS TO STAY CONNECTED.

[00:05:06]

AND ATTENDING DISTANCE EDUCATION TRAININGS TO GO AS ON-LINE EDUCATORS TO INSURE STUDENTS' SUCCESS.

WE DO ALL THIS WHILE CONTINUING TO JOBS THAT WE HAD PRE-PANDEMIC.

FACULTY ARE STILL ENGAGED IN INITIATIVES SUCH AS ADDRESSING THE ACJC RECOMMENDATIONS.

GUIDED PATHWAYS, EDUCATION, HIGHER LEARNING AND USING DATA TO SUPPORT THE VISION FOR SUCCESS.

GOVERNMENT COMMITTEEÂ -- CAMPUS WORK GROUPS CONTINUE TO OPERATE AND UPDATE OUR CAMPUS PROCESSES.

OUR ATHLETIC COACHES CONTINUE TO TRAIN OUR STUDENTS VIRTUALLY.

I'M PROUD TO SAY OUR FACULTY ARE CONTINUING TO DO THEIR BEST DURING THESE UNPRECEDENTED TIMES.

AND NOW MORE THAN EVER, WE NEED YOUR HELP AS TRUSTEES.

AS WE DEMONSTRATE CARE FOR OUR STUDENTS, WE ASK FOR YOU TO ASSIST THE DISTRICT IN SHOWING CARE FOR FACULTY.

I'M ASKING YOU TO NOT CANCEL CLASSES, TO REDUCE THE REQUIREMENTS TO RECEIVE PARTTIME MEDICAL REIMBURSEMENT, TO THOSE WHO ARE ONLY TEACHING ONE CLASS.

AND TO KEEP FACULTY WHO ARE WORKING ON GROUNDS SAVE BY PROVIDING APPROPRIATE PPE BEYOND FACE MASKS, REGARDLESS OF THE DISCIPLINE THAT THEY TEACH.

AND TO INSURE MEANINGFUL INVOLVEMENT OF FACULTY IN ALL LEVELS OF DECISION MAKING, WHEN IT COMES TO RETURN TO CAMPUS.

THANK YOU.

>> ALL RIGHT, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR REPORT, DR. HUANG AND WELCOME TO YOUR BOARD MEETING AND TO YOUR NEW CAPACITY.

I WILL NOW MOVE TO DENNIS, WHO IS REPRESENTING THE ACADEMIC SUMMIT.

THANK YOU, AND WELCOME >> WELCOME BACK, EVERYBODY.

I SEE SO MANY FAMILIAR FACES.

I'M VERY HAPPY TO BE HERE.

I DON'T HAVE A LOT TO ADD SUBSTANTIVELY TO WHAT LYNNE SAID BECAUSE SHE NAILED IT.

AND WE NEED TO DO EVERYTHING WE CAN AS A FACULTY SENATE TO COMPLIMENT, SUPPORT, ADVOCATE ON BEHALF OF FACULTY AND CLASSES AND PROGRAMS AND GUIDED PATHWAYS AND PROTECTING WHAT THAT DOES FOR OUR STUDENTS.

AND LIKE LYNNE, I'VE BEEN AT CERRITOS COLLEGE FOR 25 YEARS, WHICH IS WHY I KNOW SO MANY OF YOU.

IN CASE IT GETS MISSED HERE, I WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT WE KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING.

AT LEAST IN TERMS OF THE REPRESENTATION THAT WE NOW HAVE, REPRESENTING FACULTY.

DR. FIERRO, THANK YOU FOR SENDING A MESSAGE AFTER MY ELECTION.

I AM INITIALLY THE FIRST PERSON OF COLOR TO EVER SERVE AS A FACULTY SENATE PRESIDENT IN CERRITOS COLLEGE IN 65 YEARS.

I ALSO HAPPEN TO BE A HIGH SCHOOL DROPOUT.

I DON'T HAVE A GED.

I STARTED AT THE COMMUNITY COLLEGE, WAY BACK IN 1979 AND I WORKED HARD AND I HAD MENTORS, FACULTY, TEACHERS, ADMINISTRATORS, COUNSELORS LIBRARIANS.

YOU KNOW WHO WE ARE TALKING ABOUT.

ALL THE PEOPLE THAT WORK AT CERRITOS COLLEGE.

CREDIT, NONCREDIT, PART-TIME, FULL-TIME.

THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN THERE FOREVER, LIKE ME AND THOSE WHO ARE JUST BEGINNING AND THEY ARE IN THE PIPELINE TO SOME DAY BECOME OUR FULL-TIME FACULTY.

THERE'S A LOT TO PROTECT IN OUR END.

I AM SO PROUD TO BE SITTING HERE WITH YOU INVOLVED IN THE GREAT ENTERPRISE THAT

[00:10:17]

WE'RE IN, IN UNPRECEDENTED TIMES.

I HAVE NO DOUBT BASED ON MY KNOWLEDGE OF MANY OF YOU, AND MOST OF YOU, ALONG WITH THE CSAA AND CSFF, AND STUDENTS.

LIKE ONE OF MY FORMER STUDENTS RIGHT THERE, VALERY.

JOHNNY, WE HAVE NOT MET YET BUT I HOPE TO AT SOME POINT.

LEAVE IT AT THAT.

I'M HAPPY TO BE HERE.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I LOOK FORWARD TO IT.

>> THANK YOU VERY MUCH, PROFESSOR FALCON AND WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE JOINING US.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU IN THIS NEW CAPACITY.

THE NEXT PERSON WE WILL GO TO MS. KATHY HOGUE REPRESENTING CCSU PLEASE.

>> I WOULD LIKE TO REMIND BOARD OF TRUSTEES, ALL OF OUR ESSENTIAL WORKERS WHO CONTINUE TO BE OUR CLASSIFIED STAFF, TO INSURE THE CAMPUS CONTINUES TO RUN SMOOTHLY.

SUPPORT THE CAMPUS AND OFF CAMPUS, AS MUCH AS WE CAN.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, OUR STUDENTS.

OUR STUDENTS ARE THE MAIN DRIVING POINT FOR THE CLASSIFIED STAFF.

WE CONTINUE TO STRIFE TO INSURE THEY RECEIVE EVERYTHING THAT THEY NEED TO CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION AT HOME AND THE ONES THAT ARE ON CAMPUS THROUGH RCT LABS.

I WOULD LIKE TO WISH EVERYBODY A HAPPY THANKSGIVING, STAY SAFE AND REMEMBER, WEAR A MASK BUT ALSO WASH YOUR HANDS, THANK YOU.

>> ALL RIGHT, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, MS. KATHY HOGUE.

THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE TONIGHT.

>> I WILL MOVE TO MS. VALERY ESCOBAR WHO IS HERE TODAY, REPRESENTING SCC AND THE STUDENTS.

MS. ESCOBAR.

>> GOOD EVENING, EVERYBODY I'D LIKE TO START OFF WITH PAST EVENTS.

WE HAD OUR PUMPKIN CARVING DECORATING EVENT FOR HALLOWEEN.

IT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS.

WE WERE ABLE TO GIVE GIFT CARDS TO STUDENTS.

AND WE ALSO HAD A STUDENT GOVERNMENT MIXER, WHERE STUDENTS WERE ABLE TO COLAB RATE WITH EACH OTHER AND COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHERS' BRANCHES.

WE WERE ALSO PART OF THE SCARECROW CONTEST.

THE CHIEF JUSTICE AND I WORKED ON THE SCARECROW THAT WAS OUTSIDE OF CAMPUS.

IT WAS A LOT OF FUN.

WE DIDN'T WIN SADLY, BUT IT'S ALWAYS NICE TO SEE FRANK GO OUT THERE, WHEREVER WE PASS BY.

IN REGARDS TO CABINET, WE'RE CURRENTLY WORKING ON THE FALL WORDS.

IT'S DECEMBER 4TH, 2020, AT 4:00 P.M.

WE'RE ALSO WORKING ON HOME COMING/AVID APPRECIATION.

WE'RE WORKING TO HAVE THE EVENT NEXT YEAR.

WE'RE COLLABORATING WITH THE DEAN OF ATHLETICS, TO SEE HOW WE CAN SERVE STUDENTS OF ATHLETES, AS WELL AS ALUMNI FOR THE SPECIFIC HOME COMING EVENTS THAT TAKE PLACE.

WE ARE LOOK WORKING ON STRESS WEEK WHICH IS DECEMBER.

IT'S FROM DECEMBER 7TH TO FRIDAY DECEMBER 11TH.

IT WILL START WITH GUIDED MEDITATION EVERY DAY, 9:00 M A, 1:00 P.M.

AND 7:00 P.M., WHICH IS HOSTED BY A.J.

AND THE STUDENTS.

SO THE STUDENTS HAVE THE ABILITY TO GO ANYTIME THEY NEED.

WE WILL ALSO HAVE FUN ACTIVITIES, WHICH WILL BE CAR OKIE AS WELL AS 6:00 P.M.

AND 8:00 P.M., SO WE CAN GET ALL STUDENTS.

WE WILL ALSO HAVE WINE AND CHEESE.

IT'S NOT WINE AS THE ALCOHOLIC EVENT.

IT'S WHINE SO PEOPLE HAVE SOMEWHERE TO VENT.

THEY HAVE TO BRING THEIR OWN CHEESE.

WE WILL HAVE BOB GRASSY NIGHT, WHICH IS A PAINTING NIGHT.

WE WILL SEND STUDENTS OUT A PAINT KIT THROUGH AMAZON.

THERE ARE LIMITEDED QUANTIES, WE'RE TRYING TO SEE AS MANY STUDENTS WHO WILL COME.

WE WILL SEND IT IN THE MAIL.

THERE WILL BE A GOODY BAG DISTRIBUTION FROM FRIDAY 5:00 P.M.

THEY CAN FOCUS ON FINALS AND BE LESS STRESSED ABOUT FINALS.

WE WILL ALSO BE HAVINGÂ -- WE WILL BE VOLUNTEERING FOR THE TURKEY TROT TOMORROW AND FRIDAY.

WE WILL WANT TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENTS.

AS ASCC, WE ARE TRYING TO VOLUNTEER FOR THE FOOD DISTRIBUTIONS, TO MAKE SURE THERE'S ENOUGH PEOPLE FOR THE EVENT.

COURT, WE'RE WORKING ON GOVERNMENT MIXERS, TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE MORE, MORE EVENTS TO PROMOTE STUDENT LEADERSHIP AND COLLABORATION WITH THE STUDENTS.

THEY WILL ALSO HAVE A TOWN HALL WITH REGARDS TO THE ELECTION.

THEY ARE TRYING TO CHANGE THE BILAWS TO TAKE ON MORE RESPONSIBILITY AND BE A

[00:15:03]

BIGGER AID FOR THE REST OF THE BRANCHES.

SENATE IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON APPROVING THE BUDGET FOR CLUBS AND DEPARTMENTS.

THEY CURRENTLY FINISHED ALL THE CLUBS TODAY.

THEY ARE STILL TAKING MORE BUDGET REQUESTS FROM DIFFERENT AREAS.

IN REGARDS TO CLUBS, CLUBS HAVE BEEN DOING A PHENOMENAL JOB THIS YEAR.

FOR EXAMPLE, THE GEOGRAPHY CLUB HAS PAIRED UP WITH BEACH CLEANUP EVENTS.

I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO ATTEND WITH MY SISTER AS WELL.

THOSE HAVE BEEN A LOT OF FUN.

THE TRIATHLON CLUB IS ALWAYS HOSTING THEIRS LIVE.

AND THERE'S A LINKED CLUB.

AND PHILOSOPHY HAS SERIES IN REGARDS TO BLACK LIVES MATTER.

AND AJS HAD A CONFERENCE AS WELL AND IT WAS A VERY BIG SUCCESS.

THANK YOU.

>> GREAT, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

>> MAY I MAKE A MATTER, IF I MAY MAKE A COMMENT.

VALERY, YOU DID SAY YOU WERE DOING AMONG US AS PART OF THE STUDENT ACTIVITIES.

I WANT THE RECORD TO REFLECT, THAT VALERY IS US.

[2.01 Institutional Presentation: Recognition of Classified Employee of the Month]

THANK YOU.

>> THANK YOU MR. LEWIS.

THAT CONCLUDES THAT ITEM.

WE WILL NOW MOVE ON TO OUR OPEN SESSION, WHICH IS ITEM 2.01.

INSTITUTIONAL PRESENTATION, RECOGNITION OF CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH.

ALL RIGHT.

DR. FIERRO.

>> GOOD EVENING.

SO WE ARE RECOGNIZING LIZZETTE GONZALEZ.

LIZETTE IS NOT PRESENT IN THE MEETING.

SHE'S WATCHING US ON-LINE.

SO THE OUTSTANDING CLASSIFIED CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEE COMMITTEE, NAMELY, LIZETTE GONZALEZ, AS AWARD FOR OCTOBER 2020.

LIZETTE BEGAN HER CAREER IN CERRITOS COLLEGE, MAY 2010, AS FINANCIAL AID SPECIALIST.

SHE HAS EXCELLENT QUALITIES, WITH HER WORK ETHIC AND POSITIVE ATTITUDE.

AMID THE CHANGES THAT OCCURRED THIS YEAR WITH WORKING REMOTELY, LIZETTE HAS PLAYED A PIVOTAL ROLE IN CREATING SEAMLESS TRANSITION.

SHE DOES NOT HESITATE TO TAKE ON A LARGE VOLUME OF RESPONSIBILITY IF NEEDED.

LIZETTE WORKS WITH STUDENTS AND IS CONSTANTLY SHOWERED WITH PRAISE AND GOODWILL FROM THE STUDENTS.

LIZETTE, YOUR DEDICATION, COMMITMENT AND WILLINGNESS TO GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE STUDENTS AND STAFF ARE EXCEPTIONAL.

THE ADMINISTRATION, STAFF AND STUDENTS, APPRECIATE YOUR PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND OUTSTANDING EFFORTS.

THANK YOU FOR A JOB WELL DONE AND CONGRATULATIONS.

>> ALL RIGHT.

CONGRATULATIONS, LIZETTE.

ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO HERE FOR ALL OUR STUDENTS AND EMPLOYEES SO CONGRATULATIONS.

>> ALL RIGHT.

OKAY, SO THAT CONCLUDES THAT ITEM.

WE WILL NOW MOVE ON TO ITEM 2.02, WHICH IS INSTITUTIONAL PRESENTATION,

[2.02 Institutional Presentation: Logo and Branding Options]

LOGO AND BRANDING OPTIONS.

>> YES, THANK YOU.

WE HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THE LOGO AND BRANDING FOR QUITE SOME TIME AND WE HAVE MADE SOME SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS BUT WE HAVE, A LITTLE BIT AS WE WERE TRANSITIONING TO WORKING REMOTELY AND DEALING WITH ALL THE THINGS WE HAVE TO WORK TO GET THE COLLEGE MOVING AHEAD DURING THE PANDEMIC.

SO WHAT WE ARE GOING TO PRESENT THIS EVENING, IS A QUICK SUMMARY OF HOW WE GOT TO THIS POINT AND PRESENT YOU THE CHOICE OF THE CAMPUS WELL, THIS IS NOT NECESSARILY AN ACTION ITEM.

AT THIS TIME, WEÂ -- AT THE END OF THE PRESENTATION, WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR YOUR OPINIONS AND COMMENTS AS TO WHAT DID YOU FEELÂ -- WHAT IS YOUR REACTION ABOUT THE LOGO THAT WAS SELECTED BY THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE THAT ANSWERED THE SURVEY.

[00:20:05]

SO MY IDEA, IS GOING TO GIVE A RUN OF THE PROCESS AND FINISH THE PRESENTATION OF THE LOGO SELECTED AND HOW THE VOTING PROCESS TOOK PLACE.

MAYA.

>> GOOD EVENING, THANK YOU DR. FIERRO AND ESTEEMED GUESTS WHO ARE JOINING US TODAY.

I'M EXCITED TO PRESENT THIS ITEM.

ON THE NEXT SLIDE.

SO JUST TO GIVE YOU A QUICK UPDATE IN 2019, WHEN WE VENTURED ON THIS JOURNEY, WE'VE TAKEN A LOT OF STEPS TO GET WHERE WE ARE TODAY.

WE STARTED WITH ROUND ONE, WHICH WE INVITED THE ENTIRE CAMPUS TO JOIN US IN FRONT OF THE LIBRARY TO LOOK AT THE IDEA OF BRANDING, TO GET AN OVERVIEW OF WHAT BRANDING AND LOGO DESIGN WAS ABOUT.

WE HAD ABOUT 90 PARTICIPANTS, WHICH INCLUDED STUDENTS.

NEXT SLIDE.

>> SO ROUNDS 2, WE BROKE OFF INTO A SUBGROUP OF WHAT WE CALL THE REBRANDING WORKSHOP.

WE HAD A NUMBER OF FACULTY STAFF AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS STAFF ALSO, A PART OF THE WORK GROUP.

AND WE DRILLED DOWN TO A NUMBER OF LOGOS THAT WERE PRESENTED BY OUR FIRM WORKING WITH GWYNNSLER.

G INSLER WAS WORKING.

THE NEXT ROUND WAS ACTUAL LOGO ON CAMPUS.

AND THE FINAL ROUND THAT WE HAD WAS THE ACTUAL SURVEY.

WE SENT AROUND CONCEPTS THAT THE CAMPUS WAS ABLE TO VOTE ON AND THAT'S WHY WE ARE HERE TODAY.

THE NEXT COUPLE OF SLIDES, THAT'S WHAT THE LOGO CONCEPTS WERE.

JUST A REMINDER, THIS IS OUR LOGO.

THIS LOGO WAS UNOFFICIALLY DEVELOPED IN 2004.

IT STARTED OFF IN A CATALOG INTENDED TO REPRESENT OUR MOST SIGNATURE BUILDING AT THE TIME WHICH IS THE LRC, THE LIBRARY.

THIS IS THE SAME LOGO WE USED SINCE 2004.

IN TIMES OF LOGO CONCEPT, THIS ONE CONCEPT CAME BY WAY OF GIN, AS WELL AS THE EXECUTIVE GROUPS.

AND THIS IS THE FALCON FEATHERS.

THESE ARE INTENDED TO BE FEATHERS.

THE OVERALL CONCEPT, IS TO BE A CLEAN PALATE, WHICH ONE EXTRA HIGHLIGHT COLOR, WHICH IS THAT LIGHT BLUE.

I WANTED TO PROVIDE YOU WITH SOME POTENTIAL WAYS TO IMAGINE THE LOGO BEING APPLIED.

AS YOU COULD SEE, SWAG.

WE HAVE BAGS, BUSINESS CARDS AS WELL AS ON CAMPUS ASSETS AND FLAGS.

THIS IS NOT AN EXHAUSTIVE VIEW.

JUST A FEW ITEMS TO GET YOUR IMAGINATION ON WHAT THIS LOGO COULD LOOK LIKE.

NEXT SLIDE.

>> THIS IS THE NEXT LOGO THAT WAS FRANKLY ON THE TOP PICK.

AGAIN, YOU COULD SEE IT'S A VERY DIFFERENT VIEW.

MORE STRUCTURED AND IN ITS PRESENTATION.

NEXT SLIDE.

>> AND, AGAIN, THIS IS A VISUAL CONCEPT OF WHAT THIS LOGO COULD LOOK LIKE APPLIED.

NEXT SLIDE.

AND SO PART OF EXERCISE THAT WE EMBARKED ON ALSO INCLUDED UPDATING OUR SEAL, THE OFFICIAL SEAL, WHICH SOMETIMES WE SEE AS A CAMPUS LOGO.

ONE OF THE THINGS WE INTENDED TO DO WITH THE SEAL WAS VIEW A HISTORICAL CONNECTION.

THE COLLEGE WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1955.

1956 IS WHEN CLASSES FIRST BEGAN.

SO PART OF THE REMAKE FOR THIS SEAL WAS JUST THE HISTORICAL CORRECTION ALONG WITH UPGRADING IT TO A MODERN DESIGN.

THIS IS THE HISTORICAL CORRECTION.

IN SEALS, WE'VE SEEN A NUMBER OF ACADEMIC SEALS.

THEY ARE MORE STREAMLINED, MORE SIMPLE IN ITS PRESENTATION SO THIS IS A HAND DRAWN DEPICTSTION ON WHAT THE SEAL COULD LOOK LIKE.

AGAIN, THIS IS THE MOST LIKED LOGO, ACCORDING TO THE SURVEY.

AND THAT CONCLUDES MY PRESENTATION.

SO IF THERE'S ANY QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS, I'M HAPPY TO TAKE THEM.

>> THANK YOU, MAYA.

>> YEAH >> SO WE'RE OPEN TO ANY COMMENTS FROM THE BOARD.

AS I SAID BEFORE, THIS ITEM ISÂ -- AN ITEM IN WHICH WE'RE VOTING.

OBVIOUSLY, WE WANT YOUR FEEDBACK BECAUSE THIS BRINGS THIS PARTICULAR PART OF THE PROCESS TO AN END IN EITHER WAY.

WE CONTINUE TO MOVE FORWARD OR WE WILL MAKE THE TRANSITION TO THE NEW LOGO

[00:25:03]

AND BEGIN TRANSITIONING EVERYTHING ON CAMPUS, SO IF WE DON'T, OBVIOUSLY THIS WILL SEND US BACK TO EITHER KEEPING THE OLD LOGO OR STARTING A NEW PROCESS, ALL OVER AGAIN.

>> ALL RIGHT, THANK YOU DR. FIERRO, THANK YOU, MAYA.

DO WE HAVE ANY COMMENTS FROM THE BOARD? ANY QUESTIONS?

>> YES, I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A COMMENT.

>> SURE.

>> I REALLY LIKE THESE DESIGNS.

I REALLY THINK THAT A LOT OF WORK WAS INVESTED IN GETTING IT THIS WAY.

AND I WAS JUST WONDERING, THE OPPORTUNITY YOU MENTIONED TO ME WITH CCLA, I MENTIONED TO THEM THAT THERE MAY BE A POTENTIAL FOR ME TO DO MORE MARKETING FOR OUR CAMPUS, ON CAMPUS.

THEY ARE GOING TO SEND A PRODUCTION TEAM.

I WAS WONDERING IF THERE'S ANY WAY I COULD, MAYBE SHOW THEM, LIKE WHAT, YOU KNOW, WHAT THIS MAY BE OR IF THERE'S A DECISION THAT'S BEING DOWN THE ROAD.

IF I COULD SHOW THEM, WOULD I COME?

>> I'M NOT FAMILIAR WHAT YOU'RE REFERRING TO >> WITH THE CCLA MARKETING OPPORTUNITY, WITH CCLA.

>> CCLAÂ -- I'M SO SORRY.

>> IT'S FINE.

I WAS WONDERING IF THERE'S ANYTHING I COULD SHOW THE PRODUCTION TEAM COMING HERE TO LONG BEACH, TO PROMOTE CERRITOS COLLEGE, I GUESS, TO KIND OF SHOW THEM THESE CONCEPTS, TO GET THE FEEDBACK FROM THEM?

>> YOU MEAN BEFORE ANY CONSENSUS OR RIGHT AS IT IS NOW?

>> I WAS JUST WONDERING IF I COULD GET THE DESIGN OUT THERE?

>> SURE.

I DON'T SEE ANY ISSUE ON THAT ONCE WE GET CONSENSUS, OR IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE PROCESS THAT MAY BE INTERESTING TO THEM.

SURE.

>> WHAT IS THIS GROUP HE'S VISITING? I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH CCLA.

WHAT IS IT GROUP, TRUSTY WALLACE?

>> WELL, LET'S SEE.

IT'SÂ -- I GUESS IT'S A MARKETING CAMPAIGN.

IT'S LIKE A MARKETING OPPORTUNITY FOR THE COLLEGE, SPECIFICALLY COMMUNITY COLLEGES WITHIN L.A.

COUNTY.

THEY WERE ESSENTIALLYÂ -- I DID SOME WITH THEM AND REAL COLLEGE OUT THERE, PROMOTING CERRITOS COLLEGE.

AND THEY ARE GOING TO BE PUTTING SOME OF THOSE SOUND BITES ON STREAMING PLATFORMS, SO CERRITOS COLLEGE COULD GET MORE VISIBILITY.

>> OH, OKAY.

COULD WE TALK A LITTLE BIT OFF LINE ABOUT IT, SO I COULD GET A FULL UNDERSTANDING ON WHAT THE ACTUAL, WHAT THE SPECIFICS ARE AND WHAT THEY ARE, WHAT THE INTENT IS?

>> OF COURSE.

>> >> RIGHT.

THANK YOU TRUSTY WALLACE.

ANY OTHER QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS?

>> YEAH, IF I COULD.

>> TRUSTY BIRKEY.

>> I WANT TO THANK MAYA AND THE WHOLE TEAM FOR THE HUGE AMOUNT OF WORK THAT'S GONE OVER THIS OVER SEVERAL YEARS NOW, FROM START TO FINISH.

THAT'S A BIT OF A HERCULEAN TASK, IN TERMS THERE'S SO MANY STAKEHOLDERS AND ALMOST ALL OF THEM ARE VERY VALID.

I JUST APPRECIATE YOU TRYING TO MANAGE THE PROCESS, I IMAGINE, YOU PROBABLY FOUND IT MORE THAN YOU BARGAINED FOR AT TIMES.

[00:30:03]

I THINK THE OUTCOME IS REALLY COMPELLING.

IT'S REALLY FRESH.

I THINK IT'S EXPLORING ASPECTS OF THE COLLEGE IDENTITY THAT CERTAINLY COULDN'T SAY COME TO MY MIND IMMEDIATELY.

I THINK IT'S REALLY GREAT.

AND I APPRECIATE THE COLOR THINKING, THE WAY, WHAT I READ IS A REFLECTS BLUE AND ALSO AND O TO THE POWER BLUE, THAT'S BEEN USED ALL OVER CAMPUS.

I THINK THAT'S A REALLY STRONG LOOK THAT IS HONEST AND WHO WE ARE.

AND I THINKÂ -- I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE EXACT FONT, BUT IT LOOKS, IT'S VERY CLEAN.

I GUESS, MY ONLY COMMENTS I WOULD THROW IN THERE WOULD BE, YOU KNOW, AS WE DEVELOP, KIND OF AN IDENTITY RELATED TO THE TYP FACE.

WE HAVE SOMETHING THAT'S SORT OF, I DON'T KNOW, OFF SETS WITH THE SUPER COMMONNESS OF THE FONT.

I THINK IT LOOKS REALLY CLEAN BUT EASY TO GET LOST SOMETIMES.

I THINK OVERALL, AND MAYBE IT IS A LITTLE BIT SIMPLE.

I DON'T THINK, THIS ISÂ -- THIS IS CRITICING FROM DESIGN, DESIGNÂ -- I'LL LET YOU GUYS, ENJOY THE FACT, THAT AMAZING STEP FORWARD FROM.

>> APPRECIATE THE FEEDBACK.

I APPRECIATE THAT.

WE DEFINITELY, AT TIMES, WERE A LITTLE OVERWHELMED BY THE PROCESS BUT I THINK WE ALL STAY COMMITTED.

WE APPRECIATE THE BOARD SUPPORT AND THE SUPPORT OF THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL AS WELL AS DR. FIERRO IN THE PROCESS.

EVERYBODY WAS VERY SUPPORTIVE AND VERY OPEN SO THANK YOU.

>> I'M EXCITED.

I THINK IT WILL BE A GAME CHANGER IN TERMS OF OVERALL FEEL.

I REALLY APPRECIATE IT.

AND IN THE COLLEGE, ONCE THEY LEAVE, ABOUT ATTRACTING STUDENTS TO THE COLLEGE, THAT NEED TO BE, UNDERSTANDING WHO WE ARE AND OPPORTUNITY.

IT'S ONE OF THE THINGS, THAT'S EASY TO OVERLOOK.

APPRECIATE THE LEVEL, THAT WE HAVE, AND WHO WE ARE, AND WHAT FOLKS COULD ACHIEVE AND THE LEVEL OF COMMUNITY.

>> ANY OTHER QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS?

>> I DON'T HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.

AND I LIKE THE LOGO.

MY NAME STARTS WITH THE C AND I THINK THE C COULD BE A LITTLE BOLDER.

I DON'T KNOW.

SOMETHING ABOUT THE C NOT LOOKING TOO POWERFUL, NOT FEELING THAT.

SO THAT WOULD BE THE ONLY COMMENT.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE C WIDER PERHAPS, OR MORE BOLD, OR A LITTLE MORE LIKE, YEAH, THIS IS CERRITOS.

I'M THINKING, WHAT IF WE SWITCHED OVER THE FEATHERS FROM LIKE SHORT TO LONG.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF LOOK THAT WOULD BE.

I WOULD LIKE TO LOOK OVER MY PHONE HERE.

SO I LIKE THE CONCEPT.

I THINK I WORK MORE WITH THE WHOLE C THING.

SOMETHING ABOUT THE C, NOT JIVING WITH ME RIGHT NOW.

OTHER THAN THAT, IT'S A CLEAN LOOK.

IT'S VERY DISTINCTIVE.

OVERALL, IT'S A GOOD THING.

PLAY WITH THAT C A LITTLE BIT.

>> THANK YOU, WE WILL DEFINITELY CONSIDER THAT.

>> I LIKE THE DESIGN.

IT'S PRETTY MODERN.

IT'S GOOD.

>> I ALSO LIKE THE CONCEPT 1.

I THINK THE CONCEPT 2 LOOKS A BIT MILITARISTIC, IN A SENSE AND A LOT MORE IMPOSING.

AS THIS CONCEPT NUMBER ONE LOGO IS A LOT MORE GENTLE AND, I THINK, MORE WELCOMING.

IT LOOKS LIKE THE FEATHER IS KIND OF OBSCURRING A FULL CIRCLE.

[00:35:01]

IT KIND OF MAKES A C.

I KIND OF SEE THE INTENT WITH THAT.

FROM FAR AWAY, YOU COULD SEE MORE OF HOW IT WILL BE A CIRCLE THAT'S BEING OBSCURRED BY THE FEATHERS.

I THINK IT'S A VERY INTERESTING CONCEPT.

I TEND TO AGREE, WITH TRUSTEE AVALOS, THAT MAY BE SOMETHING THAT COULD BE PLAYED WITH OR OTHERWISE, I'M MORE THAN HAPPY TO GO WITH CONCEPT 1, LIKE TRUSTY BIRKEY WAS MENTIONING, THIS WILL REALLY CHANGE THE WAY WE ARE VIEWED IN MANY WAYS FOR HOW WE PUT OURSELVES OUT THERE.

I THINK AN EASY TO IDENTIFY LOGO, THAT'S RELATIVELY UNIQUE, ESPECIALLY IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, AND UNIQUE TO OUR MASCOT, I THINK THE MOST THOUGHT WAS PUT INTO THIS CONCEPT NUMBER 1.

SO THAT WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SEE THAT FURTHER.

THANK YOU >> THANK YOU.

>> AND I APPRECIATE YOU MENTIONING THE WORD WELCOMING, BECAUSE THAT WAS ONE OF THE WORDS THAT CAME UP DURING THE SURVEY AND FEEDBACK IS PEOPLE FELT THAT THE CAMPUS WAS WELCOMING AND A LOGO OF THIS DESIGN FELT WELCOMING SO I'M GLAD IT RESONATED THAT WAY WITH YOU.

>> I DID SUBMIT THAT.

>> AND IF IT MEANS ANYTHING, WE TESTED WITH THE CHANCELER'S OFFICE, THEY WERE GLAD IT WAS NOT TWO C'S, WHEREAS WE'RE SURROUNDED WITH CAMPUSES WITH TWO C'S IN THEIR NAME.

BEING ABLE TO STRIP THAT AND STAND OUT WAS ALSO A GOOD THING COMING FROM THE CHANCELER'S OFFICE.

>> ALL RIGHT.

THANK YOU, EVERYBODY.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENTS.

I HAVE ONE COMMENT OR TWO COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS.

ONE, DURING YOUR RESEARCH, DID YOU EVER FIND ANY BACKGROUND ON THE TRUTH GIVES WINGS TO STRENGTH TAG? I HAVE BEEN ASKED THAT IN THE PAST.

I DO NOT KNOW WHERE THAT CAME FROM.

THAT'S MY FIRST QUESTION.

MY SECOND QUESTION IS, WHAT THE TIME LINE MOVING FORWARD TO INCORPORATE THIS ACROSS CAMPUS.

>> TO ANSWER THE FIRST QUESTION, WE ARE STILL DIGGING THAT.

WE ARE UNABLE TO FIND WHERE THAT PHRASE ORIGINATED.

I'VE ASKED THE OLD TIMERS.

I'VE ASKED FOLKSÂ -- SOME OF THE GOLDEN FALCONS, AS I CALL THEM.

I CANNOT SEEM TO GET AN EXPLANATION.

IT'S A MYSTERY.

WE WILL CONTINUE TO DIG BUT AS OF TODAY, I HAVE NO IDEA.

IN TERMS OF YOUR SECOND QUESTION, ROLL OUT, I THINK WHAT WE TALKED ABOUT BEFORE, IS A MODERATE ROLL OUT.

UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE ARE POTENTIAL BUDGETARY ISSUES.

THERE ARE PROGRAMS THAT STILL NEED TO RAMP UP.

WE WOULD LOOK AT PHASING IT IN, ONE PHASE 4, COLLATERAL PIECES, ASSETS LIKE TRASH CANS AND BUILDINGS.

WE SEE THAT ASPECT, A LITTLE FURTHER OFF, BECAUSE WE HAVE A NUMBER OF BUILDINGS STILL COMING ON LINE.

THE EXPENSE OF IT WOULD BE ENORMOUS.

AT THIS POINT, ONCE WEÂ -- MAKE ANY FINAL ADAPTATIONS FOR THIS, I WILL BRING BACK TO THE PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVE COUNCIL A PHASE IN OUTLINE ON WHAT A ROLLOUT WOULD LOOK LIKE OVER A FEW MONTHS, I WOULD ASSUME.

SO IT'S NOT A HARD FLIP OF THE SWITCH.

IT WOULD BE GRADUAL.

>> ALL RIGHT, THANK YOU SO MUCH, MIYA FOR ALL YOUR WORK AND EVERYBODY WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THE LOGO CONCEPT.

PLEASE EXTEND OUR APPRECIATION ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD.

EXCITING NEWS.

>> THANK YOU SO MUCH.

>> OKAY.

SO THAT CONCLUDES THIS ITEM.

WE WILL NOW MOVE ON TO THE NEXT ITEM, WHICH IS ITEM 2.03.

[2.03 Discussion of CCCAA Board of Directors Contingency Plan for Community College Athletic Programs]

DISCUSSION OF THE TRIPLE C, AA BOARD OF DIRECTORS, CONTINGENCY PLAN FOR CONTINUING COLLEGE ACTIVITY PROGRAMS. DR. FIERRO.

>> I WAS HOPING TO REMOVE THE ITEM IN THE AGENDA, BECAUSE IT SEEMS TO CHANGE DAILY, NOW A DAYS.

I WANT TO KIND OF GIVE YOU CONTEXT OF THE CONVERSATION BECAUSE SINCE MY LAST

[00:40:07]

MEETING WITH TRIPLE C, AA.

THINGS HAVE CHANGED DIAGRAM AT LIKELY.

NOT EXACTLY FROM THEIR POINT OF VIEW, IN PUBLIC L AND THE COUNTY.

SO I WANT TO GIVE YOU A LITTLE BIT OF THE CONTEXT AND ON THESE AND THE INITIAL CONVERSATION WITH THE CALIFORNIA COMMUNITY COLLEGE, ASSOCIATION WAS BASED ON THE FACT THAT THE CONDITIONS TO ENGAGE IN COMPETITION WERE GOING TO BE SOMEWHAT APPROPRIATE FOR THE BEGINNING OF THE SEMESTER.

BASED ON THAT, NEARLYÂ -- SOME MONTHS AGO, THE COMMISSION PUT TOGETHER A PASSPORT TO PROVIDE RECOMMENDATION WHAT TO DO, DURING THE FALL SEMESTER, AND THEN ADDRESS THE SPRING SEMESTER.

THE PRIMARY WAS TO CANCEL COMPETITION.

THEREFORE, WE CANNOT HAVE ANY COMPETITION ACROSS THE STATE.

HOWEVER, THEY SAID UNDER THE RIGHT CONDITIONS AND FOLLOWING THE STATE GUIDELINES AND NC GUIDELINES, WE WILL BE ABLE TO RESUME COMPETITIONS DURING THE SPRING SEMESTER.

THE LAST MEETING THAT WAS HELD BY CCCAA.

THE COMMISSION INITIALLY MOVED TO REMOVE THE PLAN, PRESENTED BY THE WORKING GROUP WHICH THERE WERE OUTRIGHTS, AND COLLEGES, T OBTAIN OR OUT OF THE COLLEGIATE COMPETITION FOR THE SPRING SEMESTER.

THERE WAS GOING TO BE ESSENTIALLY AN EARLY COMPETITION AND A LATE COMPETITION OF SOME SPORT, FOOTBALL IN LIMITED CAPACITY.

SO THAT TRIGGERED A NUMBER OF QUESTIONS, HOW WE'RE GOING TO ORGANIZE THE COMPETITION, THE COST OF COMPETITION, BECAUSE ACCORDING TO NCAA RULES, WE

WILL TOÂ -- TESTING >> AND IT PRESENTED A NUMBER OF CHALLENGES.

WE DID SOME ROUGH ESTIMATES, QUOTED SOME TESTING, HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST TO DO THAT.

HOWEVER, IF IT PROVED TO BE POINTLESS.

EVEN IF WE WERE ABLE TO FINANCIALLY ABSORB THE COST OF COMPETITION, THINGS IN L.A.

COUNTY AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS A WHOLE HAVE CHANGED DRAMATICALLY IN THE LAST WEEK IN FACT, TODAY AND YESTERDAY, IT CHANGED AGAIN.

AND WE PROBABLY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN A COMPETITION DUE TO RESTRICTIONS IN THE COUNTY.

L.A.

COUNTY CONTINUES TO BE PURPLE, WHICH IS THE LEVEL OF MOST RESTRICTION, ACCORDING TO THE STATE RANKING.

YESTERDAY, ORANGE COUNTY WAS PLAYING SOME PURPLE, WHICH IS ANOTHER COUNTY, THAT WE CAN POTENTIALLY COMPETED WITH.

SANÂ DIEGO COUNTY, VENTURA COUNTY AND THOSE WERE COUNTIES THAT WERE ALREADY CONDITIONING.

MEANING, THEY WERE OPENING CLASSES, SOME PE AND THINGS WERE PRACTICING WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING AND RESTRICTIONS.

WE HAVE NEVER BEEN IN L.A.

COUNTY, WHERE WE WERE PUT IN A CONDITION WHERE WE'RE PRACTICING.

HOWEVER, WHAT MAKES IT COMPLICATED, WE ARE EXPERIENCING CHALLENGES, WITH COVID-19, ALLOW K-12 TEAMS TO CONDITION.

YOU COULD DRIVE BY AN ER, NEARBY HIGHEST SCHOOLS.

LITERALLY THE SCHOOLS WE SERVE, HOW MANY OF THEM WERE CONDITIONED IN THE COLLEGE SO WE HAVE A NUMBER OF, PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT.

.

>> THE LAST CONVERSATION, THEY WERE A LITTLE BIT MORE AGREEABLE, BRINGING BACK CONDITIONING AT SOME POINT NEXT YEAR.

THEY SAID, THEY WOULD HAVE THE CONVERSATION AGAIN IN JANUARY, PENDING WHAT

[00:45:06]

HAPPENED DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER.

WHEN I LAST SPOKE WITH DR. FIERROE RO -- FIERRO, THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT RESTRICTIONS FOR L.A.

COUNTY.

THEY WERE RELUCTANT IN IMPLEMENTING SOME OF THE RESTRICTIONS.

NOW AS OF TODAY AND YESTERDAY, WE NOW BAY NATION.

>> GOT MY BACK AND KIND OF DIGGING DEEP AND CHANNELLING AND LETTING THAT, LETTING THAT MENTAL TOUGHNESS TAKE OVER.

>> AND HELLO, WELCOME TO GREEN BAY NATION.

JOINING ME TO CHAT, EVERYTHING PACKERS.

EDITOR AND WRITER FOR PACKER REPORT.

CREATOR OF THE POD CAST.

HE'S FILL IN FOR MARCUS ABERSOL.

HELLO, GENTLEMEN.

>> HELLO.. >> YOU HEARD DAVONTAE ADAMS TALK.

AND HE COMES BACK TO THE GAME, AND CATCHES THE GO AHEAD TOUCHDOWN.

DAVONTAE CONTINUES TO ADD TO HIS RESUME.

AND DEPENDING ON THE ANKLE AND DUANTE SCANTLEY.

WHAT'S THE WIDE RECEIVER ROTATION LOOK LIKE WITH LAZAR BACK AGENDAÂ -- DAVONTAE.

>> AND ADAMS INJURED THE HAMSTRING AGAINST THE LIONS.

IT'S PRETTY MUCH ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES.

VALDEZ CATCHES IT DEEP.

DAVONTAE COULD RUN EVERY ROUTE.

ROGERS HAS PRETTY MUCH EVERY WEAPON, HE WANTS.

AND IT'S NO SURE THING, BECAUSE MATT LE FLEUR SEEMED CAUTIOUS ABOUT EASING LAZAR.

IT WOULD BE A WELCOME SURPRISE, I THINK, IF ALL THREE ARE ON THE FIELD THIS SUNDAY  €¦ÃŒLTHE BIGGEST LIMITATION WE'RE FACING AT THIS PARTICULAR TIME IS THE HIGH NUMBER OF RESTRICTIONS.

WHETHER WE AGREE WITH THE RESTRICTIONS OR NOT, IT'S HARD TO ARGUE WITH THE DECISION BECAUSE CALIFORNIA, AS A WHOLE, THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY REACHED 140,000 CASES IN A SINGLE DAY.

SO WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE HIGH PANDEMIC NUMBERS THAT WE'RE EXPERIENCING WHEN WE FIRST OPEN.

L.A.

COUNTY IS REACHING 3 OR CLOSE TO 3,000 CASES DAILY, WHICH MAKES IT COMPLICATED TO ARGUE WITH THE PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT, WE NEED TO OPEN.

AND EVEN THE CASES WE'RE SEEING ON CAMPUS TODAY, ARE INCREASING, ARE INCREASING RAPIDLY OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS, YOU PROBABLY HAVE SEEN AN INCREASE IN THE E-MAILS THAT WE HAVE SENT, NOTIFYING THE CAMPUS COMMUNITY THAT WE HAVE ANOTHER CASE IN CAMPUS.

IF YOU HAVE KEPT TRACK OF THE E-MAILS IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS, WE POSSIBLY SEEN MORE E-MAILS THAN WE HAVE SENT IN THE LAST TWO MONTHS COMBINEDÂ -- NINE MONTHS COMBINED.

PART OF THE REASON FOR THAT, NOT ALL OF THE CASES ARE HAPPENING IN CAMPUS, IS THE INCIDENT OF COMMUNITY CASES IS INCREASING DRAMATICALLY AND WE ARE, IN REGARD, BECOMING A LITTLE MORE COMFORTABLE WITH WHAT IS HAPPENING, SO TRANSMISSION, SEEMS TO HAPPEN A LITTLE MORE FREQUENTLY, AS WE COME TO HOLIDAYS.

IT IS LIKELY THAT WE SEE AN INCREASE NOT ONLY IN THE COUNTY, BUT IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES, THAT IT HAS, WITH OUR OWNÂ -- EMPLOYEES EVEN PERHAPS OURSELVES.

I WISH, I HAD A LITTLE MORE CLARITY AS TO WHAT AM I GOING TO ASK YOU TO DO AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE DEADLINE, BY THE COMMISSION BUT MY PLAN HAS CHANGED A FEW TIMES, SINCE THE CONVERSATION, GIVEN THE DATA THAT I'M RECEIVING.

[00:50:03]

I'M DUE TO HAVE ANOTHER CONVERSATION WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH.

I BELIEVE IT'S THE FIRST AND SECOND WEEK OF DECEMBER.

HOWEVER, I'M NOT VERY OPTIMISTIC, AS TO, WE WILL SEE TOO MANY CHANGES BECAUSE THAT WILL BE ROUGHLY TWO WEEKS ABOUT, ABOUT TWO WEEK AFTER THANKSGIVING.

HOSPITALS AND TESTING FACILITIES ARE ALREADY WORKING ON INCREASING CAPACITY FOR THAT TIME GIVEN DURING THANKSGIVING, PEOPLE TEND TO GET TOGETHER IN AN EVENT.

OBVIOUSLY, WE WILL HAVE THE BEGINNING OF THE SHOPPING SEASON, WHICH WILL BRING ADDITIONAL CROWDS TO THE STREETS.

FOR THOSE REASON, I'M NOT NECESSARILY ASKING YOU TO TAKE ANY POSITIONS, AT THIS PARTICULAR TIME BUT TO BE AWARE.

KEEP AN OPEN MIND, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.

>> SOMETHING WE SEE THE POSSIBILITY -- NOT NECESSARILY BECAUSE THE BENEFITS OF THE TEAM ONLY.

I THINK MANY OF OUR STUDENTS ARE STRUGGLING WITH BEING AT HOME AND NOT HAVING AN OUTLET TO MOVE OUT, NOTHING.

AND WE HAD GREAT FACILITIES FOR THAT.

AND IF WE ARE ABLE TO BRING SOME OF THE CONDITIONS, AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK, WE ARE PROVIDING A GOOD SET OF THIS.

YOU WILL HAVE TO WORK ON SOME VERY STRICT PROTOCOLS, TO MINIMIZE THE INCIDENTS OF INFECTION.

>> ALL RIGHT.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, DR. FIERRO.

ANY OTHER COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS FROM MY COLLEAGUES? TRUSTEE WALLACE?

>> YES, I WAS JUST WONDERING.

I DID, I DO RECALL HEARING THE GOVERNOR, MENTION THAT CALIFORNIA HAS MOVED TO PURPLE.

THAT KIND OFÂ -- IN REGARDS TO THE SPORTS EVENT.

>> FOLLOWING THE STATE GUIDELINES IN ORDER TO BEÂ -- PARTICIPATION AND EVENTS.

PARTICIPATION JUST BEING THE INITIAL PHASES.

DO THEY PLANÂ -- WOULD THE AUDIENCE BE SOCIAL DISTANCE?

>> THAT IS A VERY GOOD QUESTION.

THIS IS WHY I HAVE A LITTLE PROBLEM WITH THE POSITION BEING MADE.

THE BOARD HAS ALLOWED TO HAVE ATHLETICS PARTICIPATION.

HOWEVER, ANY ADDITION LEVEL, HAS A.

ONCE YOU.

THE PROBLEM IS LOO A LITTLE MORE COMPLEX.

EVEN IF I WANTED TO SAY, YES, I WILL WANT TO PARTICIPATE.

AT THAT THE COUNTY WOULDN'T WANT ONE.

AND TWO, TESTING, IS INCREDIBLY TESTED.

THE STATE HAS NOT PROVIDED A VENUE FOR EVERYBODY TO DO THAT.

WHAT THAT, IN MY OPINION CREATES, DISTRICTS, THAT ARE PROBABLYÂ -- THERE'S VERY FEW NOW, BECAUSE I GUESS MOST OF THE COUNTIES, ADD BE IN.

AND WHAT IT DOES.

AND THE OPPORTUNITY, THEY HAVE THE MEANS, LAYER OF PROTECTS IT, DISTRICTS THAT CAN'T AFFORD THAT.

I COULD TELL YOU, IT WILL BE INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE, ALLOW STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE, IN A POSITION THAT IS HIGHER IF I UNDERSTAND, ALLOWING STUDENTS TO PART.

[00:55:05]

FOR MANY GRET IN A SCAL LARSHIP >>-- WITHOUT GUIDANCE AND SUPPORT, PUTS COLLEGES NOT FINANCIALLY WEATHER.

DISADVANTAGED BY THE EVENT.

WAIVERS GIVEN BY THE DEPARTMENT AND PUBLIC HELP.

>> >> UNDERSTAND.

>> ANY OTHER QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS FROM ANY OF THE BOARD MEMBERS?

>> ALL RIGHT, DR. FIERRO, I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS.

FIRST, IN REGARDS TO THE STUDENTS DENT.

MANY OF THE STUDENT ATHLETE, IS A WAY TO TRANSFER TO THE.

>> THERE'S ELGIBILITY.

>> THE ELGIBILITY WILL REMAIN CURRENT.

MEANING THIS SEASON, IF YOU WILL, WILL NOT COUNT AGAINST THEM.

THEY HAVE ALREADY PASSED ACTION ON THAT AND THEY ARE WORKING WITH NCAA TO INSURE THAT CONTINUES TO BE THE CASE.

THE RUSH OF THAT, SOME OF THE STUDENTS ARE NOT FEELING CONTEXTED.

>> AND HOW ABOUT SOME.

>> THAT'S AN ISSUE THE STUDENTS ARE WORKING WITH THAT.

>> AND MY SECOND QUESTION, WHERE ARE THE IMPLICATION WITH REGARD TO THE FACULTY, WITH OUR STAFF AND ATHLETICSES.

>> I COULD TELL YOU, I AM PROUD OF THE WORK THEY ARE DOING.

HI A CONVERSATION WITH THEM I BELIEVE WAS LAST FRIDAY.

IT WAS DIFFICULT TO HAVE BECAUSE, IT WAS KOHN FRONTATIONAL.

I AM ABLE TO DO WHAT IT TAS.

I NEVER FIND MYSELF ON THE SIDE OF THE FENCE.

I USUALLY FIND MYSELF, YOU NEED TO.

>> THIF BEEN WORKING ON HAPPEN.

THEY HAVE BEEN REACHING OUT MULTIPLE WAYS.

BEING A COACH, IS A SPECIAL RELATION IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN A COACH, MOST OF THE TIME, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND.

ASIDE THAN THE FACT, THAT THEY ARE COMPETITIVE BY NATURE, I THINK THEY HAVE EXPERIENCED HEAVY HEART.

THE TEAMS ARE AMAZING WE ARE TRYING TO DO EVERYTHING WE CAN AND WE'RE GOING TO CONTINUE TO WORK WITH THEM.

LITTLE BUMMED OUT, ESSENTIALLY.

>> I READ THE 2C, 3A DOCUMENT AND THEY HAVE THAT TRIGGER DATE, WHERE TIGERS HAD TO OPT IN.

>> THEY COULD OPTIN.

WHAT IS GOING TO BE THE OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION WITH THE COLLEGE, IN REGARDS TO THE DATE?

>> I AM WAITING A LITTLE BIT MORE AND SEE IF I COULD SNEAK IN THE LAST MEETING WITH THE PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT BEFORE GIVING A FINAL DECISION.

IN SOME ASPECTS, WE SHOULD PROBABLY SAY, WE ARE GOING TO PARTICIPATE.

HOWEVER, NO SPECIFY, IN WHICH OF SEASON, THE COUNTY IS GO SFRM >> AND THEN WE'LL HAVE A CONVERSATION AS TO WHETHER OR NOT WE CAN MEET, I'M NOT IN AGREEMENT

[01:00:04]

WITH SOME OF THE ADVOCACY GOING ON IN THE STATE.

ESSENTIALLY, WE SHOULD BE IN THE.

>> AND I'M NOT IN AGREEMENT WITH THAT.

EVEN IF WE DID THAT, I THINK WE NEED TO DEVELOP MY OWN TESTING PLAN, NOT OBL FOR THE STUDENTS BUT THE FACULTY.

WE NEED TO BE MINDFUL, FOR THE STUDENTS, TO NOT BE ON CAMPUS.

WE HAVE TO BE MINDFUL, STUDENTS CAN'T LIVE IN A BUBBLE.

MANY LIVE WITH THEIR GRANDPARENTS, THEY ARE NOT AT RISK.

TRANSMITTING IT OUT TO SOMEONE ELSE, IF NOT A HIGH RISK.

I DON'T THINK, PARTICIPATING, AND A LITTLE MORE CONFIRMATION BEFORE THE COUNTY, BEFORE WE DO THAT.

ALWAYS BE OPEN WITH OUR COACHES AND WE WILL DO THIS.

IF COUNTY SAYS NO, WE WILL NOT GO AGAINST THE RULES OF THE COUNTY.

IF WE CAN MOVE ARE YOU TAKING, THE COLLEGES, TO HAVE ENOUGH COLLEGES IN THE L.A.

COUNTY.

I DON'T THINK WE'LL HAVE ENOUGH FOR COMPETITION, GIVEN THE CURRENT CONDITIONS AND THE COSTS.

>> ALL RIGHT, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, DR. FIERRO.

YES, DENNIS FALCON?

>> JUST OUT OF CURIOSITY, MR. PRESIDENT, AND IT JUST POPPED INTO MY HEAD, LISTENING TO YOU.

BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT K-12, THEM DOING.

SINCE OUR COMMUNITIES, AND THEY IT, LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL, HAVE YOU HEARD OF ANY OF OUR STUDENTS WHO ARE GOING TO CONDITION AT THINK LOCAL SCHOOL, INFORMALLY, TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE IF YOU THINK THAT WOULD EVEN GET TO YOU, WHAT MIGHT A RESPONSE BE WITH THE COLLEGE?

>> I HAD NOT HEARD ABOUT.

HOWEVER, I DID SEND COMMUNICATION WITH LEON, WE WERE NOT ENDORSING ANY GATHERING OUTSIDE OF CAMPUS, BY ANY OF OUR TEAMS. WE HAVE REPEATED THAT CONSISTENTLY, THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS.

IT IS DIFFICULT TO DO THAT, BECAUSE I KNOW PEOPLE WANT TO DO IT.

I WOULD LIKE TO.

PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

>> AND THANK YOU VERY MUCH, FOR YOUR COMMENTS.

SEEING NO OTHER COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS, I THINK THIS CONCLUDES THIS ITEM.

SO THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I GUESS WE WILL STAY TUNE FOR DR. FIERRO TO CONTINUE ON THIS ITEM.

>> OKAY.

LET'S GO AHEAD AND SKIP TO ITEM 604.

WE WILL GO AHEAD AND GO TO THE CONSENT CALENDAR.

[3. Consent Items]

WOULD ANY MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES, WOULD LIKE TO PULL ANY ITEMS FROM THE CONSENT.

THERE WERE ITEMS 3.04.

SO SEEING, I WOULD LIKE TO PULL TWO ITEMS AND MAYBE FOR DR. FIERRO, A VERY BRIEF.

EYE TENL 3.04, THE TRANSFER PLAN.

AND ITEM 3.07, RADIFICATION OF WHOLEVIST.

WE WILL GO AHEAD AND TAKE A MOTION FOR THE CONSENT CALENDAR WITH THE EXCLUSION OF THOSE TWO ITEMS. SO ANYONE OFFERING A MOTION?

>> SO MOVED.

>> SO WE HAVE A MOTION BY TRUSTY LEWIS.

>> SECOND.

>> SECOND BY DR. LIU.

WE WILL TAKE A ROLE CALL VOTE.

>> STUDENT TRUSTY WALLACE?

>> TRUSTY AVALOS?

>> AYE.

>> TRUSTY BIRKEY?

>> AYE.

>> TRUSTY MARTHA CAMACHO-RODRIGUEZ IS ABSENT.

TRUSTY LEWIS?

[01:05:01]

>> AYE.

>> TRUSTY LIU?

>> YES.

>> TRUSTY PEREZ?

>> YES.

>> AND TRUSTY SALAZAR.

TRUSTY SALAZAR? THE MOTION PASSES.

>> ALL RIGHT.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

>> SO WE WILL GO AHEAD AND MOVE TO ITEM 3.04.

IT IS THE 20-22 TRANSFER PLAN.

.

>> I HAVE TWO GUESTS WITH US THIS EVENING, TO GIVE US A QUICK OVERVIEW OF THE TRANSFER CENTER PLAN.

PROFESSOR DEAN AND PROGRESSOR GRAPH, WILL GIVE US AN OVERVIEW ON WHAT WE HAVE DONE IN THE LAST YEAR AND GOING FORWARD WITH THE TRANSFER CENTER.

THEY, TOGETHER COULD DIRECT THE TRANSFER CENTER AND ARE VERY ACTIVE WITH OUR LOCAL UNIVERSITIES AND OUR STUDENTS.

[3.04 2020-2022 Transfer Center Plan]

WE ARE ALSO, SENSITIVE E-MAILS, AND THEY ARE RIGHT ON IT.

I APPRECIATE THAT.

SO TAKE IT AWAY.

NO SOUND.

>> OKAY.

.

>> DO I HAVE SOUND NOW?

>> YES, YOU DO.

>> OKAY.

PERFECT.

NUMBER ONE, THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING US THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE THE TRANSFER CENTER PLAN ON THE BOARD AGENDA TODAY.

I HOPE EVERYONE'S FAMILY IS DOING WELL, GIVEN THE CIRCUMSTANCES.

I APPRECIATE EVERYONE BEING WITH US.

THE TRANSFER CENTER WANTED TO PUT FORWARD THIS PLAN TO SHOWCASE THE MANY ACTIVITIES THAT WE HAVE BEEN DOING OVER THE YEARS.

SO ALTHOUGH WE'RE A LITTLE BIT BEHIND ON SUBMITTING THIS PLAN ON A REGULAR BASIS, WE WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE ADMINISTRATION IS AWARE OF ALL OF THE ACTIVITIES THAT WE DO BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION FOR COMMUNITY COLLEGES.

SO WE HAVE HIGHLIGHTED THE DIFFERENT OBJECTIVES AND I'M NOTÂ -- I'M NOT GOING TO READ EVERYTHING BUT WE JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE COLLEGE KNOWS THAT OUT OF ALL THE OBJECTIVES, WE CONTINUE TO PROVIDE THE ACTIVITIES.

ALTHOUGH WE'RE A LITTLE BIT LATE IN SUBMITTING THESE PLANS, BECAUSE IT'S THE RECOMMENDED TO HAVE IT EVERY TWO YEARS, THESE ARE ACTIVITIES THAT HAVE BEEN GOING FOR A VERY LONG TIME.

BOTH BRITTANY AND I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH THE TRANSFER CENTER IN 2004-2005.

WE HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR A VERY LONG TIME.

WE ARE ALWAYS EXCITED ABOUT THE DIFFERENT WAYS THAT WE CAN PROVIDE SERVICES TO OUR NEW STUDENTS, TO OUR CURRENT STUDENTS AND ALSO OUR OUTGOING STUDENTS.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, IT'S NOT JUST TO GIVE THEM A PLAN TO TRANSFER, BUT GIVING THEM THE ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES WHILE THEY GET THROUGH, WHAT THEY CALL THROUGH THE GATE AND THEN MAKING SURE THAT THEY APPLY.

SO THAT WE'RE IN AN APPLICATION SEASON RIGHT NOW.

WE ARE DEFINITELYÂ -- THE CHALLENGES OF TRANSITIONING, WE'RE DEFINITELY SOMETHING THAT WE WERE NERVOUS ABOUT, BUT I THINK WE FOUND WAYS TO EQUALLY PROVIDE THE SAME SERVICES THAT WE DID ON CAMPUS AND TRANSITION VIRTUALLY.

SO THE PLAN IS JUST TO SHOWCASE THE DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES.

I DON'T WANTÂ -- IT'S PRETTY LONG BUT WE JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT THE COLLEGE KNOWS THAT THESE HAVE BEEN ACTIVITIES THAT HAVE BEEN ONGOING FOR A VERY LONG TIME.

I DO ALSO WANT TO ADD THAT JUST RECENTLY, THEÂ -- LET ME GET MY NOTES HERE.

IF YOU'RE NOT FAMILIAR, THERE'S AN ORGANIZATION CALLED THE CAMPAIGN FOR COLLEGE OPPORTUNITY.

THAT HAS ACTUALLY AWARDED CERRITOS COLLEGE AS ONE OF THEIR EQUITY CHAMPIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.

AND SO THIS IS ACTUALLY AN ORGANIZATION THAT I KNOW OUR REGION 8 THROUGH BRITTANY LUNDEEN, BECAUSE BRITTANY IS THE CHAIR OF REGION 8, IT'S TO REMOVE BARRIERS OF THE

[01:10:09]

CSU APPLICATION, AND THE BARRIERS THE TRANSFERS HAVE ON OUR STUDENTS.

WE DIDN'T REALIZE THAT CERRITOS COLLEGE IS ONE OF THE RECIPIENTS OF THE AWARD, ALONG WITH BERKELEY CITY COLLEGE, MARY COLLEGE, WOOD LAWN COLLEGE.

THE AWARD IN PARTICULAR IS FOR CALIFORNIA COMMUNITY COLLEGES, IN CONFERRING ADT TO BLACK AND LATIN STUDENTS ON THEIR CAMPUS, RELATIVE TO THE NUMBER OF TRANSFERS SEEKING BLACK AND LATIN STUDENTS ON THEIR CAMPUS.

THIS CAME OUT ON NOVEMBER 12TH.

WE WANTED TO MAKE SURE THE ADMINISTRATION KNOWS THAT THIS AWARD IS FOR CERRITOS COLLEGE.

TOMORROW, THEY WILL BE ACKNOWLEDGING THESE CAMPUSES BECAUSE OF THE SHORT NOTICE, I WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO ATTEND 30 MINUTES.

I'M NOT SURE IF ANYONE ELSE COULD ATTEND BUT I COULD FORWARD THE INFORMATION.

THERE WILL BE GUEST SPEAKERS SUCH AS HONORABLE ALEX PADILLA AND HONORABLE MARK BERMAN PARTICIPATING IN THE SESSION TOMORROW AT 10:30 FOR ABOUT AN HOUR.

I COULD SEND IN THE REGISTRATION INFORMATION.

I FEEL LIKE IT'S A TESTAMENT.

AND THEN I'LL LET BRITTANY SPEAK.

USUALLY BRITTANY SPEAKS MORE THAN I DO.

I WANT TO HIGHLIGHT THE ADT IS A RELIEF EFFORT, WITH THE ADMINISTRATION AND STAFF TO BE ABLE TO PROCESS THE ADT'S.

JUST RECENTLY, WE IDENTIFIED THE SPRING 21 GROUP.

IT'S A PARTNERSHIP.

IT'S A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN TRANSFER CENTER AND ADMISSIONS.

IN MARCH, WE WILL BE ABLE TO WORK WITH ADMISSIONS AND RECORDS TO PROCESS THE RECORDS NEEDED FROM OUR STUDENTS TO MAKE SURE THAT THE CSU CAMPUSES HAS THE VERIFICATION THEY NEED TO, TO VERIFY THE STUDENTS FOR ADT FOR VERIFICATION AND ADMISSION.

JUST TO GIVE YOU SOME HIGHLIGHTS.

BRITTANY, WOULD YOU LIKE TO ADD ANYTHING.

>> I DON'T KNOW IF I TALK MORE, I JUST TALK FASTER.

FOR THOSE WHO KNOW ME, I THINK I TALK RATHER FAST.

I THINK YOU COVERED EVERYTHING I WANTED TO COVER.

AND ALTHOUGH WE'RE DOING THIS FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME, I THINK WE DO IT IN DIFFERENT FORMATS.

WE'RE EXCITED OF THE THINGS WE'RE ABLE TO DO BECAUSE OF THE CURRENT SITUATION.

WE'RE FINDING THINGS ON LINE, EVEN GOING BACK ON CAMPUS, WE ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE TO OUR STUDENTS ON ON-LINE FORMAT BECAUSE IT WORKS WELL FOR THEM.

WE'VE DONE A CONFERENCE SERIES, THAT'S GONE ON FRIDAY, THAT'S GONE VERY, VERY WELL MUCH WE'VE BEEN ABLE TO HIGHLIGHT.

WE HAD, FOR EXAMPLE, HAD A TRANSFER STUDENT IN OCTOBER.

WE HAVE A STUDENT THAT'S GOING TO YALE THIS YEAR.

WE HAVE A STUDENT, NLU, UNC, UC IRVINE.

I LOVE THE FACT THAT OUR STUDENTS ARE GOING IN A LOT OF DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS.

THAT'S ONE THING THATÂ -- NOT LIMIT THEMSELVES ON WHAT WE CAN DO IN HIGH SCHOOL.

BUT STARTING IN CERRITOS AND THEN MOVING FORWARD TO WHEREVER THEY WANT TO GO.

I THINK THAT'S COMING THROUGH A LITTLE MORE.

WE'RE SEEING MORE OF OUR STUDENTS CONSIDERING SCHOOLS OUTSIDE OF WHERE WE LIVE.

THAT'S A BIG THING WE PROMOTE IN THE CLASSROOMS AND BIG EVENTS WE HAVE ON CAMPUS.

SO IF THAT'S ANYTHING ELSE YOU ALL WANT TO COVER.

>> THANK YOU VERY MUCH, MARVELLINA AND BRITTANY.

ALL RIGHT.

ANY QUESTIONS FROM ANY OF MY COLLEAGUES.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, BOTH FOR WHAT YOU DO ON BEHALF OF OUR STUDENTS.

I ACTUALLY HAD, WHEN YOU MENTIONED ABOUT, SOME STUDENTS WHO ARE WILLING TO TRANSFER FURTHER AWAY.

I AM DOING A LOT OF READING, READING AND WATCHING TV, THESE LAST NINE MONTHS.

I'VE BEEN READING A LOT OF BOOKS, ABOUT FIRST GENERATION STUDENTS.

AND THE RELUCTANCE TO MOVE FAR AWAY FROM YOUR HOMES.

I THINK THAT'S SOMETHING THAT YOU COULD ALL, YOU KNOW, THINK ABOUT WHEN WE WERE THAT YOUNG AND HOW DIFFICULT IT IS FOR US TO FIRST LEAVE, GO TO COLLEGE, PURSUE OUR DREAMS AND THEN LEAVE OUR FAMILY, BECAUSE SO MUCH OF OUR LIFE IS CENTERED AROUND THAT.

I THINK THAT'S AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT TO RECOGNIZE AND ACKNOWLEDGE.

[01:15:03]

THAT'S A CHALLENGE STILL.

STILL TO THE DAY.

AND I HEAR THAT A LOT, WHEN I TALK TO STUDENTS AND, YOU KNOW, GET A BETTER SENSE OF WHAT THEIR DREAMS AND AMBITIONS ARE.

SO YES, I APPRECIATE YOU GUYS, YOU KNOW, WORKING ON THAT.

I THINK IT REALLY GOES A LONG WAY.

DR. FIERRO, THE QUESTION IS FOR YOU.

ON THE DATA, DO WE EGREG GATE THE DATA?

>> WE'RE STARTING TO SEGREGATE MORE AND MORE DATA AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO DO THAT IN THEÂ -- I THINK IN THE NEXT COORDINATING COMMITTEE, IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN.

WE WILL BE BRINGING SOME DATA COACHES TO BEGIN SOME OF THE PRESENTATION ON THEÂ -- TO ALL THE DIFFERENT GROUPS.

THE BOARD IS ALSO, WORLD TOUR, SO WE WILL CONTINUE TO SEDATE AT THAT AND SOME OF THE PROGRESS THAT WE'RE MAKING ON THE DATA SEGREGATION.

CONVERSATIONS ON CAMPUS SEEMS TO BE GOING WELL IN REGARDS TO DATA.

THERE'S STILL WORK TO DO.

WHEN WE SEE THE DATA AND SOMETIMES, WE'RE NOT DOING AS WELL, AS WE THINK, IT'S KIND OF HARD TO DEAL WITH THE COMPONENT.

LARGELY, THE CONVERSATIONS ARE GOING WELL AND WE'RE GOING TO FIND WAYS TO CELEBRATE THE GOOD THINGS WE HAVE DONE AND CONTINUE TO BE ENCOURAGED BY THE

EXTRA STEPS THAT WE NEED TO TAKE SO YES >> I THINK THAT'S REALLY IMPORTANT.

I DON'T KNOW WHICH WEBNAR I WAS ON.

IT WAS DATA FROM CAL.

IT TALKS ABOUT THE FRAEDUATION RATES FROM CAL.

IT WAS LIKE 90-PLUS PERCENT WHEN YOU SEE THE STUDENTS.

WHEN YOU SEGREGATE IT WITH ETHNICITY, IT WAS STARK DIFFERENCE.

I THINK IT'S GOOD WE'RE WORKING ON THAT, IN ALL LEVELS THROUGHOUT THE COLLEGE, THROUGHOUT ALL OUR PROGRAMS. IT'S GOOD TO HEAR.

>> SO LET'S GO AHEAD AND VOTE ON THE ITEM.

LET'S VOTE ON ITEM 3.04.

COULD WE HAVE A MOTION FOR APPROVAL?

>> SO MOTION.

>> SO WE HAVE A MOTION.

WE HAVE A SECOND BY TRUSTEE WALLACE.

WE WILL TAKE A ROLE CALL VOTE ON ITEM 3.04.

>> OKAY, TRUSTY WALLACE?

>> AYE.

>> TRUSTY AVALOS?

>> YES.

>> TRUSTY BIRKEY?

>> AYE.

>> TRUSTY MARTHA CAMACHO-RODRIGUEZ, IS ABSENT.

TRUSTY LEWIS?

>> AYE.

>> THANK YOU.

TRUSTY LIU?

>> YES.

>> TRUSTEE PEREZ?

>> YES.

>> AND TRUSTEE SALAZAR?

>> AYE >> MOTION PASSES > OKAY.

GREAT.

>> WE HAVE HAD A REQUEST TO GO ACT BACK TO THE APPROVAL OF THE CONSENT CALENDAR.

TRUSTEE SALAZAR WAS HAVING SOME ISSUES WITH HER AUDIO SO TRUSTEE LEWIS, COULD WE RECONSIDER THE MOTION, SO WE CAN RECORD TRUSTEE SALAZAR'S VOTE?

>> ABSOLUTELY.

>> SO ANDREA, DO WE JUST DO A ROLE CALL OR DO WE VOTE TO RECONSIDER.

>> PROBABLY SHOULD VOTE TO RECONSIDER.

>> VOTE TO RECONSIDER.

>> WE HAVE TO DO A VOTE TO RECONSIDER THEN.

>> SECOND.

>> SO MOTION BY TRUSTEE LEWIS, SECOND BY TRUSTEE AVALOS.

I WILL GO AHEAD AND DO THE ROLE CALL.

STUDENT TRUSTEE WALLACE?

>> YES.

>> TRUSTEE AVALOS?

>> YES.

>> TRUSTEE BIRKEY?

>> YES.

>> TRUSTY MARTHA CAMACHO-RODRIGUEZ IS ABSENT.

TRUSTEE LEWIS?

>> AYE.

>> TRUSTEE LIU?

>> YES.

>> TRUSTEE PERES?

>> YES.

>> TRUSTEE SALAZAR?

>> AYE.

>> SO THE MOTION TO RECONSIDER PASSES.

NOW WE WILL GO AHEAD AND GO BACK TO ASKING FOR A MOTION TO APPROVE THE CONSENT CALENDAR.

>> MOTION.

>> AND SO MOVED BY TRUSTEE LEWIS.

>> SECOND.

>> I SECOND THAT MOTION.

>> SECOND BY TRUSTEE WALLACE.

ROLE CALL VOTE.

>> STUDENT TRUSTEE WALLACE?

>> AYE.

>> TRUSTY AVALOS?

>> YES.

>> MOTION PASSES.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR PRESENTATION.

DR. FIERRO.

I WOULD LIKE TO ASK DR. PEREZ WITH THE ITEM.

THE FIRST BEING THE COLOCATION OF SERVICES, WHERE THEY HAVE PARAMETERS IN OUR CAMPUS.

AND THE THIRD, RELATED TO $2.1 MILLION, THAT WE RECEIVED FROM THE CHANCELER'S OFFICE TO SUPPORT THE EFFORT, FOR OUR STUDENTS WHO ARE OVER 24 AND WE HAVE FAMILIES AND DEPENDENTS.

THEY HAVE SUBMITTED THEIR FIRST INVOICES AND WE ARE READY TO PAY THEM FOR THE WORK THEY ARE DOING.

THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE BEFORE YOU, HOW WE PLAN TO SPEND THE AB74 FUNDS.

DR. FIERRO.

>> THANK YOU TRUSTEE, PERZ.

THE RESOLUTION WE HAVE BEFORE YOU, IS RECOGNIZING NOVEMBER IS AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH.

AND WE HAD A NUMBER OF ACTIVITY ON CAMPUS AND RECOGNIZING OR NATIVE AMERICAN COLLEGE SO FOR INSTANCE, TODAY, WE HAVE A DISCUSSION ON THE CAMUCH HERITAGE, LED BY PROFESSOR MACIAS.

THIS PARTICULAR CONVERSATION HAD A SPEAKER, HONORABLE DEVAL.

SANCHEZ, WHO IS NATIVE AMERICAN, WHICH IS NATIVE AMERICAN STUDENTS IN CSU LONG BEACH.

THE PARTICULAR EVENT WAS FOCUSED MAINLY ON THE HISTORY ABOUT NATIVE AMERICANS, SOME OF THE ISSUES THEY HAVE FACED OVER THE YEARS AND THE RELEVANCE OF RECOGNIZING THIS AND THEIR OWNER AS THEY CONTINUE TO MOVE FORWARD WORKING WITH THEM AND IMPROVING EVERYONE'S CONDITIONS IN THE NAME OF

[01:25:04]

EQUITY, ADVERSITY AND INCLUSION.

AND I'M RECOMMENDING THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES PROCLAIM AND RECOGNIZE NOVEMBER AS NATIVE AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH.

>> ALL RIGHT, DR. FIERRO.

>> UH-HUH.

CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTION, MEDICAL AND HOSPITAL CARE ACT, WITH RESPECT TO DISTRICT EMPLOYEES.

>> CORRECT.

>> DR. FLORES-CHURCH.

>> YES, THANK YOU.

GOOD EVENING.

LAST BOARD MEETING WE PRESENTED THE SAME ITEM FO THOSE GROUPS THAT ARE PRESENTED BASICALLY FOR THE FACULTY UNION, CLASSIFIED UNION.

THIS TIME THE ITEM THAT YOU HAVE IN FRONT OF YOU IS EXACTLY THE SAME BUT IS FOR NONREPRESENTED GROUPS.

SO IT IS THE INCREASE FROM THE 200-300, FOR THOSE EMPLOYEES THAT HAVE SERVED ONE YEAR OF SERVICE AND RETIRED FROM THE COLLEGE AFTER JULY 1, 2018.

I'LL BE GLAD TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS.

>> I'M SORRY, DR. FLORES, WE REACHED THE AGREEMENT LAST MONTH WITH THE FACULTY AND STAFFER?

>> NO, ACTUALLY THIS IS THE ITEM.

IT WAS PRESENTED EXACTLY THE SAME ITEM FOR BOTH THE FACULTY FEDERATION AND THE CLASSIFIED UNION.

AND THIS IS ACTUALLY SOMETHING THAT THE DISTRICT HAS AGREED AND NEGOTIATED, YOU KNOW, FOR THEÂ -- LIKE A YEAR AGO, BUT IT IS JUST A MATTER THAT CALPERS IS REQUESTING THIS ITEM TO HAVE BOARD APPROVAL AND THEREFORE, WILL BRING IT TO YOU.

LAST TIME WE DID IT FOR THE REPRESENTATIVE GROUPS AND THIS TIME WE'RE DOING IT FOR THE UNREPRESENTED GROUPS.

>> THANK YOU.

DR. FIERRO.

>> THANK YOU, TRUSTEE PEREZ.

I WILL NOW ASK, PRESIDENT LOPEZ TO HELP US.

>> GOOD EVENING.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES.

WE'RE AT THE FINAL STAGES OF OUR 2020ADA SELF EVALUATION AND TRANSITION PLAN.

[01:30:01]

WE STARTED THE PROCESS, PROBABLY ABOUT 18 MONTHS AGO.

WE DID A LOT OF ON CAMPUS MEETINGS, FORMS REPRESENTED.

I DO HAVE REPRESENTATIVES WITH ME FROM OUR CONSULTANTS FROM SALLY SWANSON ARCHITECTS, INC.

WE DO HAVE A SHORT PRESENTATION THAT I WILL BE SHARING ON MY SCREEN AND WE WILL BE HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE AT THE VERY END.

I WOULD LIKE TO TURN THIS OVER TO MY COLLEAGUES FROM SALLY SWANSON.

>> THANKS FELL LIP.

MY NAME IS JOSH SMIG.

AND WE ARE A COUPLE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE TEAM FROM SALLY SWANSON ARCHITECTS THAT CONDUCTED THE SELF EVALUATION AND TRANSITION PLAN.

WE WILL GIVE YOU A BRIEF OVERVIEW.

THIS IS A BRIEF AGENDA OF THE PRESENTATION.

HOW WE GOT HERE, WHY THIS IS REQUIRED IN THE PROCESS OF THE ADA.

TRANSITION PLAN PROCESS, SELF EVALUATION PROCESS AND A LITTLE TIME IN THE END FOR QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS, IF YOU HAVE ANY.

SO BRIEFLY, WHY DO WE HAVE THE ADA? A LOT OF US KNOW ADA TURNED 30 THIS YEAR.

I WON'T READ ALL OF THESE TO YOU.

I THINK IT JUST GOES WHY DO WE HAVE THE ADA BASICALLY THAT THERE'SÂ -- MEDICAL ADVANCES AND INCREASING LIFESPANS AND VETERANS.

I WILL POINT OUT, THERE'S A LOT OF DISCUSSIONS TONIGHT REGARDING THE IMPACTS OF COVID.

WE'RE STARTING TO SEE THEÂ -- HOW IT WILL INTERSECT WITH THE ADA AND HAVE PROCESSES IN PLACE, TO MAKE SURE WE CAN ACCOMMODATE, PEOPLE WHO QUALIFY WITH DISABILITIES UNDER THE ADA.

THIS SLIDE BRIEFLY DESCRIBES THE DISTRICT'S RESPONSIBILITIES UNDER THE ADA, GENERAL PROHIBITIONS, AND HERE'S THE SELF EXAMINATION, TRANSITION PLAN, HAVING ADA NOTICES OF COMPLIANCE, HAVING A GRIEVANCES IN PLACE AND RESPONSIBLE EMPLOYEE TO ADMINISTER THE GRIEVANCES PROCESS AND UNDER THE ADA COORDINATOR.

AND THESE ARE THE KEY COMPONENTS OF THE EVALUATION AND TRANSITION PLAN.

THE TRANSITION PLAN IS A SURVEY OF THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT SO THAT IS WHAT A LOT OF PEOPLE THINK OF IN TERMS OF ACCESSIBILITY, WHE YOU ARE LOOKING AT SIDEWALKS AND RAMPS AND REST ROOMS. THE SELF EVALUATION IS A SURVEY OF SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES.

THAT'S ALL THE WAYS WE INTERACT WITH ONE ANOTHER EITHER IN THE BUILT OR IN THE DIGITAL ENVIRONMENTS.

FOR INSTANCE, AN EXAMPLE OF ACCESSIBILITY, WOULD BE THE CAPTIONING THAT IS HAPPENING IN THE MEETING TO TONIGHT.

THE TRANSITION, COMES WITH BARRIER MITIGATION AND ALSO THERE'S ON THE CLIENT SIDE, THE DISTRICT OFFICIAL TO ADMINISTRATOR THE PLAN.

ALL RIGHT.

I WILL TURN IT OVER TO MY COLLEAGUE NICO TO DESCRIBE THE TRANSITION PROCESS.

>> THANK YOU, JOSH.

I'M NICO SUMOWIEC.

THE TRANSITION PROCESS IS WHERE WE CAME ON SITE ON CAMPUS.

AND WE DOCUMENT ALL THE BARRIERS AND WE ALSO MAKE ALTERRATIONS, AND WE PROVIDE THE DESCRIPTION OF THE STRUCTURAL MODIFICATIO AND THE TIME LINE FOR COMPLETING THE WORK.

FOR THE PHYSICAL SURVEY METHODOLOGY, WE START WITH THE EXTERIOR PORTIONS.

IF THE PERSON CANNOT ACCESS THE FRONT OF THE FACILITY, THERE'S NO WAY THEY CAN ACCESS YOUR PROGRAMS AND SERVICES WITHIN THE FACILITY.

WE GENERALLY START WITH THE PARKING LOT, TRANSIT, STOPS, DROP-OFF STOPS, AND THEN YOUR SITE ENTRY POINTS FROM THE PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY ALL THE WAY TO THE FRONT DOOR.

ONCE WE GET INSIDE, WE'LL LOOK AT THE INTERIOR SPACES WHERE THE PROGRAM IS HOUSE AS WELL AS REST ROOMS, DRINKING FOUNTAINS.

FOR TITLE ONE, WE LOOK AT THE STAFF AREAS WITHIN YOUR FACILITIES.

SO THE TRANSITION PLAN, THE CURRENT STATUS IS THAT WE COMPLETED, SENT A DRAFT OUT TO THE COLLEGE AND THEN WE ALSO HAD A PUBLIC VETTING AND FINALIZE THE TRANSITION PLAN.

[01:35:01]

SO NOW THE COLLEGE WILL BE WORKING ON IDENTIFYING CURRENT AND FUTURE PROJECTS, SO THEY CAN ALIGN BARRIERS FOR MITIGATION WITH AND ALSO ONGOING TRACKING AND MONITORING.

AND THEN WHEN YOU VIEW THE TRANSITION PLAN, THIS IS KIND OF WHAT YOU WILL SEE FOR THE REPORTS IDENTIFYING ALL THE BARRIERS.

WE BREAK IT UP BY LOCATION.

THERE ALSO WILL BE A FLOOR PLAN MAP THAT WILL HELP YOU IDENTIFY WHAT LOCATION EACH OF THE ITEMS ARE IN.

WE GIVE THE BARRIER DESCRIPTION AS WELL AS THE MEASUREMENT THAT WAS TAKEN, A SOLUTION.

ALL THE RELEVANT CODES AND WE ALSO HAVE AN IMAGE, WE ALSO DO PRIORITY AND SEVERITY, TO HELP THE COLLEGE COME UP WITH A PLAN FOR WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO MITIGATE FIRST AND WHAT COULD BE MAYBE WAIT A LITTLE BIT.

ALL RIGHT.

AND THEN I WOULD LIKE TO HAND IT OVER TO JOSH, WHO WILL TALK ABOUT THE SELF-EVALUATION A LITTLE BIT MORE IN DETAIL.

ALL RIGHT.

THANK YOU.

ALL RIGHT.

SO AS I MENTIONED, I AM THE ADA POLICY SPECIALIST FOR SALLY SWANSON ARCHITECTS.

I WORK ON THE SELF-EVALUATION ASPECT OF THE PROJECT.

WHAT WE DID BASICALLY, DISTRIBUTE, EVERYTHING FROM LIBRARY SERVICES, EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO COMMUNICATION AND DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS.

WE DISTRIBUTED SURVEYS AND GOT RESPONSES FROM ALL OF THOSE AND CREATE A SELF-EVALUATION REPORT WHERE ALL THE RESPONSES WERE SUMMARIZED AND RECOMMENDATIONS WERE MADE.

THE RECOMMENDATIONS WERE THEN PUT INTO A WORK PLAN WHICH I'M GOING TO SHOW YOU AN EXAMPLE OF IN A COUPLE OF SLIDES WHICH IS EFFECTIVELY A LIVING DOCUMENT.

SIMILAR TO THE MITIGATION PLAN THAT NICO JUST DESCRIBED BUT FOR PROGRAM SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES, RATHER THAN THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT.

NEXT SLIDE PLEASE.

AND AS I JUST MENTIONEDÂ -- THERE WE GO.

THIS ACTUALLY IS NOT A SUPER IMPORTANT SLIDE BUT WILL GO THROUGH IT.

IT POINT OUT RECOMMENDATION, WE MET WITH OFFICIALS AT CERRITOS AND, AGAIN, PART OF THE MOVING FORWARD IS TO HAVE THE GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE IN PLACE AND ONGOING TRACKING AND MONITORING OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF RECOMMENDATIONS.

SO THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT THE WORK PLAN LOOKS LIKE.

IT'S A SPREADSHEET.

OVER HERE ON THE LEFT-HAND SIDE, WE HAVE THE RECOMMENDATION.

AS YOU MOVE TO THE RIGHT, THIS IS HOW YOU WOULD USE THIS AGAIN, AS A LIVING DOCUMENT TO TRACK WHEN YOU ARE IMPLEMENTING THE RECOMMENDATIONS, WHO IS ASSIGNED TO THAT, WHEN IT IS DONE, ET CETERA.

THIS IS SLIDE, THAT REVIEWS THE PUBLIC INPUT PROCESS.

WE HAD A PUBLIC PRESENTATION ON AUGUST 25TH.

ALL OF THE INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC FOR REVIEW AND COMMENT FROM AUGUST 17TH, UNTIL SEPTEMBER 11.

THIS IS THE LINK WHERE THE PLANS COULD BE REVIEWED BY THE PUBLIC.

OKAY.

AND THAT CONCLUDES OUR PRESENTATION.

NICO AND I WILL STAY ON TO SEE IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS FOR US.

>> ALL RIGHT.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, JOSH AND NICO, FOR BEING HERE TODAY AND PRESENTING TO US.

DO WE HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS FROM ANY OF MY COLLEAGUES? OKAY.

NO QUESTIONS.

SO VICE PRESIDENT LOPEZ, SO WHAT IS THE IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS MOVING FORWARD TO THIS?

>> SO AFTER THE BOARD APPROVES THIS WITHIN THE PLAN ITSELF, WE DO HAVE A FUNDING BUDGET SET UP IN THERE SO ON AN ANNUAL BASIS WE WILL HAVE ONGOING SUPPORT TO START REVIEWING AND CORRECTING SOME OF THE PHYSICAL BARRIER THAT WE'VE IDENTIFIED IN THE REPORT.

ALSO WITHIN THE PLAN, IT ALSOÂ -- ALOT OF THE BUILDINGS, EITHER ARE CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION OR GOING TO BE RELATIVELY SOON IN CONSTRUCTION, SO THAT IS PART OF THE PLAN ON THAT.

SO WE WILL BE UTILIZING A COMBINATION OF UNRESTRICTED GENERAL FUND RESOURCES, BOND RESOURCES AND CAPITOL OUTLAY RESOURCES AS PART OF THE PLAN TO MOVE FORWARD WITH IMPLEMENTING THIS.

WE'VE AND REALLY, WE'RE WORKING NOW WITH MY TEAM TO KIND OF DIVVY UP THIS AND

[01:40:08]

BREAK IT DOWN TO CATEGORIES ON WHAT WE WILL CONSIDER INTERNALLY, WHERE WE ADDRESS INTERNALLY THROUGH FACILITIES.

AND SOME THAT ARE, YOU KNOW, MAYBE BEYOND WHAT FACILITIES COULD DO AND WHICH WE THEN WOULD HAVE TO BRING IN ADDITIONAL CONTRACTORS TO BE ABLE TO MITIGATE SOME OF THE ISSUES ON IT.

RIGHT NOW, WE WOULD BE OVER THE NEXT, YOU KNOW, MONTHS, WE WOULD BE ANALYZING AND REALLY UTILIZING THE SCALE THAT'S DEVELOPED IN THE PLAN TO REALLY PRIORITIZE WHICH PROJECTS WE WILL HANDLE.

EVERY YEAR, WE WILL HAVE A SET GROUP OF PROJECTS THAT OUR GOAL IS TO GO IN, MITIGATE AND MAKE ANY NECESSARY CHANGES.

AND THEN DOCUMENT THAT ON OUR REPORTING TO BE ABLE TO TRACK THE PROGRESS, WITH THIS PLAN.

AND SO THESE PLANS, YOU KNOW, IF YOU TAKE A LOOK AT IT.

THE REPORT IS EXTREMELY LARGE.

IT'S OVER 2000 PAGES LONG.

I ACTUALLY HAD TO BREAK IT UP IN IT, BECAUSE IT'S ACTUALLY TOO LARGE FOR, TO UP LOAD AND TO BOARD DOCKS.

BUT IT ADDRESSES EVERY SINGLE BUILDING, EVERY SINGLE PARKING LOT AND SURFACE ON OUR CAMPUS.

AND SO THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS A LONG-TERM PLAN.

THIS IS SOMETHING THAT'S NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO BE ADDRESSED IN ONE YEAR OR TWO YEARS, IT WILL TAKE SEVERAL YEARS FOR US TO BE ABLE TO MITIGATE THROUGH ALL OF THAT.

BUT WE'LL COME UP WITH A PLAN AND BE ABLE TO ADDRESS THESE AND MAKE SOME MITIGATION ON AN ANNUAL BASIS.

>> >> AND WHERE WE ARE AT WITH TRANSITIONING THROUGH THIS.

AND WHAT ARE THE FUNDING FOR THESE IMPROVEMENTS?

>> SOME OF THESE WILL ACTUALLY BE DONE THROUGH FACILITIES.

WE WILL BE UTILIZING OUR GENERAL FUND.

AND SOME WILL BE THE RENOVATION OF THE HEALTH-SCIENCE BUILDING.

OBVIOUSLY, IT WILL MAKE MORE SENSE BECAUSE WE'RE JUST ABOUT TO EMBARK IN THE RENOVATION, AND USE THE PROJECT TO MITIGATE ALL OF THE ISSUES IDENTIFIED IN THE HEALTH-SCIENCE BUILDING.

SO I WOULD SAY BOND FUNDS WOULD ALSO BE THERE.

AND CAPITOL OUTLAY FUNDS WOULD ALSO BE THE POT, FUNDING SOURCE THAT WE CAN USE TO HELP MITIGATE SOME OF THE BIGGER TICKET ITEMS THAT ARE A LITTLE BIT MORE COSTLY.

>> THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

>> OKAY.

SO NO OTHER QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS, WE WILL GO AHEAD AND TAKE THE ROLE CALL.

MOTION FIRST.

>> MOTION >> WE HAVE A MOTION BY TRUSTEE WALLACE.

>> SECOND.

>> SECOND BY TRUSTEE LEWIS.

SO ROLE CALL PLEASE.

>> STUDENT TRUSTEE WALLACE?

>> AYE.

>> TRUSTEE AVALOS?

[6. Reports and Comments from District Officials]

BEFORE WE GO TO CLOSE SESSION, WE HAVE ABOUT 15 MINUTES TO GO OVER REPORTS AND COMMENTS FROM DISTRICT OFFICIALS.

GO AHEAD AND START WITH MY COLLEAGUES FIRST.

TRUSTEE LEWIS.

>> OVER THE WEEKEND, THE LAÂ MIRADA VETERAN FOREIGN WARS ON ROSE CRANES AND VALLEY VIEW HOSTED A FUND-RAISER, WHICH IS SUCCESSFUL, BECAUSE THEY NEED SOME HELP IN TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH THEIR BILL SINCE THE BAR THEY WERE OPERATING AS A SOURCE OF INCOME HAS NOT BEEN ABLE T OPERATE.

SO I WAS ABLE TO HELP WITH THAT AND MAYOR LEWIS WENT AS WELL.

AND IT WAS A WAY TO CONTINUE ON OUR VETERANS, EVEN THOUGH WE CAN NOT GATHER TO HONOR THEM DURING VETERAN'S DAY.

THAT WAS THAT.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO MANY MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP THEM OUT AND THE SAME THING WITH

[01:45:01]

THE COMMUNITY OUT HERE IN THE LAÂ MIRADA AREA, FOR THANKSGIVINGS THAT WILL BE, YOU KNOW, GIVEN OUT TO ROTARY AND SAME WITH THE CLOTHES FOR KIDS SHOPPING SPREE THAT WE ARE NOT ABLE TO HOST, BUT ARE ABLE TO WORK WITH THE NORWALK LAÂ MIRADA SCHOOL DISTRICT TO MAKE SURE, AT LEAST THE BENEFIT IS GIVEN TO THE STUDENTS, EVEN THOUGH THE EXPERIENCE CANNOT BE GIVEN TO THEM.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO A SWIFT END TO THE TIME, SO WE MAY CONTINUE TO GET BACK TO MANY MORE OPPORTUNITIES THAT ARE LINED FOR US OUT IN 2021 AND 2022 AND SO ON.
